Introduction:

The following excerpts are reproduced from public records previously published as part of the Dunn Files. These materials were selected because they contain statements attributed to children who were interviewed during a 1998-1999 investigation conducted by the California Department of Health and Human Services concerning a foster home operated by Sheila and Greg Dunn.

The first excerpt contains statements attributed to a seven-year-old girl who described alleged sexual abuse by Greg Dunn while living in the foster home.

The other three excerpts contain statements attributed to boys who had been placed in the foster home and who described alleged physical abuse by Greg Dunn.

The final two documents are agency records reflecting the conclusions of the corresponding investigations. According to those records, allegations involving physical abuse were found to be substantiated, while allegations involving sexual abuse were described as inconclusive due to insufficient evidence.
