Justice for Waldport believes that transparency extends beyond elected officials and governing documents to include the policies that guide the day-to-day operation of City government. For that reason, we have included the Waldport Employee Handbook as part of our public document library. While we are not aware of this document having been interpreted or applied in the same manner as the City Charter or the City Council Rules, we believe it is an important resource for understanding the policies, expectations, and standards that govern the City's workforce. We also note that the current Employee Handbook was last revised in March 2022.

In the interest of transparency and public access, we have provided the current official version of the Waldport Employee Handbook—the version in effect and relied upon by the City as of July 8, 2026—for anyone to review. We encourage residents to read the handbook to better understand the employment policies and administrative practices that help guide the City's operations.
