WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Efforts to Recall six Waldport City Councilors are underway.   If you are a Waldport citizen, your signature  on the petitions will help bring the issue to a ballot so
THE PEOPLE of Waldport can vote on it.  The deadline to sign is OCTOBER 12, 2025, and we need 200 qualifying signatures.   To be clear the petitions are only the first step toward Recalling the city councilors. Your signature is NOT your vote.  It simply means you want the community to consider and vote on the Recalls.

THE DEADLINE TO SIGN THE RECALL PETITIONS IS OCTOBER 12, 2025.  VOLUNTEERS ARE AVAILABLE TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS OR MEET WITH YOU SO YOU CAN SIGN ONE OR ALL OF THE 6 PETITIONS.

OUR CHIEF PETITIONER WILL SUBMIT THE PETITIONS TO THE CITY RECORDER WHO WILL THEN SUBMIT THEM TO THE LINCOLN COUNTY CLERK.  ONCE THE COUNTY CLERK VERIFIES EACH SIGNATURE (MAKES SURE EACH PERSON WHO SIGNED IS A REGISTERED VOTER AND LIVES IN WALDPORT), THE RECALLS WILL MOVE TO A BALLOT AND THE CITY WILL HOLD A SPECIAL ELECTION.
