Justice for Waldport is an informal, volunteer coalition based in Waldport, Oregon. Our members represent a broad range of political, religious, educational, and professional backgrounds, united by a shared commitment to accountable and transparent local government.
We came together on April 4, 2025, following the unconstitutional expulsion of Mayor Heide Lambert by six members of the city council. We believe this action reflects a broader pattern of unethical—and potentially unlawful—decision-making by the current council.
Our coalition is committed to ensuring that Waldport’s city government is held accountable for its past actions and its ongoing conduct. We also insist that the city council fulfill its responsibility to exercise diligent fiscal oversight, including proper supervision of the municipality’s Financial Director and City Manager.
Waldport’s residents deserve leadership that respects democratic principles, sound governance, and the public trust.
